Eric D. Donnenfeld, MD
Dr. Donnenfeld is an internationally recognized expert and pioneer in refractive, cornea and cataract surgery and one of the leading refractive and cataract surgeons in the United States. Dr. Donnenfeld is on the Board of Overseers of Dartmouth Medical School and a Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at New York University Medical Center. He also serves on the Executive Boards of ASCRS and ACOS and is a member of the Refractive Committee of ASCRS and Cornea section of Ocular Surgery News. He also is National Medical Director of TLC Laser Eye Centers and Surgical Director of the Lions Eye Bank for Long Island. The Journal of Cataract & Refractive Surgery Today has named Donnenfeld as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Ophthalmologists in the United States.
Dr. Donnenfeld has performed laser vision correction on over 70,000 patients and more than 1,000 eye doctors and their families. He has authored more than 190 papers on cornea, external disease, cataract and refractive surgery, 500 scientific articles, and 40 books and book chapters on a range of subjects pertaining to corneal transplants, cataract care, and laser vision correction. He is one of the first 5 people in the world to perform both laser vision correction and laser cataract surgery.
Audrey R. Talley Rostov, MD
Dr. Rostov is a partner at Northwest Eye Surgeons. She joined the practice in 1995 and has extensive experience with femtosecond laser cataract surgery and presbyopic correcting IOLs and was one of the first Crystalens surgeons. She is currently an investigator with clinical trials for collagen crosslinking for keratoconus and does clinical research on femtosecond laser keratoplasty techniques. She was the first surgeon to perform and teach femtosecond laser keratoplasty in New Delhi, India.
Dr. Talley Rostov is Associate Global Medical Director and on the medical advisory board of SightLife, a global health organization whose mission is to cure corneal blindness worldwide. She has helped create an international corneal fellowship for Ethiopian surgeons with Himalayan Cataract Project and is a board member of Ophthalmic World Leaders and CEDARS/ASPENS. Dr. Talley Rostov serves on several AAO and ASCRS committees, is a section editor for complex cataract case management for Cataract and Refractive Surgery Today (CRST), and is on the editorial review boards for AJO, JCRS, and JRS. She is a frequent speaker and course instructor nationally and internationally and has helped create a curriculum for teaching endothelial keratoplasty in the developing world.
